Italy’s food and wine is a collection of flavors, tastes, creativity, history and traditions of all parts of Italy.
There is no doubt that food in Italy is out of this world! The Italian cuisine is known throughout the world and this private Gourmet experience with the chef in the heart of Tuscany, is the best way to understand the reasons of this fame as well as hands-on learning and tasting its traditional delicacies.
Chef Alessio will welcome you with a glass of Prosecco wine. The chef will apply his experience to teach tricks and secrets of Italian cuisine. He will introduce and guide to the cooking class gourmet (3-hour, excluding the transfer to/from the location) with the preparation of four dishes in the Tuscan kitchen to enjoy all together in a friendly atmosphere. There are different gourmet menu proposals available: pasta making, vegetarian, Mediterranean fish. Tailored gourmet menu on your personal choice or advanced gourmet menu are also available. All participants will receive the printed recipes and the Certificate of participation.

The chef
Born and raised in a farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside, Alessio approaches the world of cooking and its products since childhood. The culinary traditions of his grandma and his aunts accompany him up to the age of twenty, when he starts to work in the restaurant business and immediately understands that this is what he is made for. He becomes head chef in a few months and begins his ascent. Moving on from the kitchens of star chefs, head chef to the great Florentine restaurants, from the most important Tuscan trattorias to international catering, he creates his extensive and unconventional training, which allows him to develop his own vision and achieve his personal taste and create his own gourmet style of cooking. A dynamic, transversal concept that ranges from tradition to gourmet, maintaining a specific identity. This identity makes Alessio one of the most demanded private chefs.
