April
No matter where your travels take you in Italy in April, there are many holidays and festivals that are localized and not celebrated country-wide, it’s a good idea to ask us the local calendar of events. Rome celebrates its founding day in April so there are many interesting events and celebrations in the city. In April Venice celebrates it patron Saint’s day so there are many festivities, Cremona hosts the Chess Festival and Ladispoli the artichoke food festival while Milan is welcoming important events and exhibitions.
May
May is the month of the opening of EXPO 2015 in Milan, an important event not only for Milan but also for all the country for the next six months. May is a perfect month to travel through Italy and gardens are blooming all over in May. During this month Florence’s iris garden open only during a few weeks in May. July

August

November
November is a great month for those who want to lull in the main tourist art cities in Italy like Rome, Naples, Sienna, Pisa, Venice, Genoa or Florence for peacefully visit all the world famous sight seeing attractions in these cities. Starting mid September until end November there’s a festival for every taste: wine, chestnuts, chocolate, truffles, porcini mushrooms, fish, polenta, potatoes. With December winter mountain activities season opens in the North.
