Narrated journey in search of truffe truffles in the woods with the trifolau (truffle hunter) and his trusty dog to experience the thrill of savoring the taste with a drink to remember. Discover the origin of the precious tuber, get excited surrounded by the sounds and the smells of the woods and conclude a magic experience with a cocktail-tasting in a typical countryside farmhouse to savor the intense and inimitabile aroma of the truffle.

The sweet world of the Amaretti
A fascinating itinerary through the sweet world of the Amaretti (macaroons) of the Langhe. The Amaretti are confectionery products, dry or soft, slightly bitter and a rounded shape which basic ingredients are: sweet or bitter almonds, sugar and egg whites. Apricot kernels can also be added that give the product its typical bitter taste.
You will learn about their ancient tradition rooted in the production area, winning numerous prizes at fairs, events and exhibitions. The Amaretti can be eaten sweet wines (Moscato Spumante) or raisin and also with Barbera wine or with the tea. The macaroons whole, dipped in a batter and fried foods are one of the components of the mixed fried piemontese. Once crumbled, however, are an important ingredient of the Bonet, a traditional regional pudding.
The guided tour by a confectionery expert will drive you to the most significant production places of macaroons are: Mombaruzzo, Valenza, Acqui, Gavi and Ovada.
